Infogrames is Revived by Atari as a Publishing Label
Atari has established a new publishing label under the well-known Infogrames brand. The "new" brand is a legacy brand known for game development and worldwide distribution from the early 1980s to the early 2000s. Infogrames has also announced the acquisition of its first IP, the Totally Reliable Delivery Service from tinyBuild.
Atari revives Infogrames as a publishing label. Infogrames aims to acquire IPs and publish games in various genres that are not part of the core IP portfolio associated with the Atari brand. "For decades, Infogrames built a reputation as a publisher and developer of amazing and eclectic games, and we are excited to bring it back," said Wade Rosen, Chairman and CEO of Atari.
