Federal funding has been allocated to six distinguished gaming companies, notably Gaming Minds, Serapion, Kaleidoscube, Barrel Roll, Lootzifr, and McPeppergames, by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK). This significant financial injection totals nearly €2.4 million.
Gaming Minds Studios, located in Gütersloh, is set to receive €994,406 for the development of the Season Pass for "Railway Empire 2". Gaming Minds, an integral part of Kalypso Media's in-house development studios, stands out as a prominent recipient. Serapion, hailing from Munich, is slated to receive €886,434 in support of "AHERO," an innovative adaptive learning game aimed at young audiences.
