Games for Families Attracts a Large Number of Visitors in Mannheim
With a fully booked hall, the roadshow for analogue games, interactive games and toys attracted visitors to the Maimarkt in Mannheim, which recorded an increase in visitor numbers compared to the previous year with 264,000 people over the eleven days of the event.
For a total of eleven days, Germany's "Games for Families" roadshow encouraged young and old to try out and buy the latest game innovations and toys. From 27 April to 7 May, visitors to Germany's largest regional exhibition in Mannheim found plenty of new products in the fully booked Games for Families hall. Both analogue and digital games were on show and, according to the organisers, met with great interest and record sales. 96.9 per cent of the 419 people surveyed in the Games for Families hall would recommend a visit to others. 81.15 per cent plan to buy games for themselves or others in the next three months (+4 per cent compared to last year). 73.75 per cent of visitors were accompanied by at least one child or grandchild (+2.3 per cent compared to last year).
